Thread: Griffitt shaping back into form for Cajuns

  1. Default Griffitt shaping back into form for Cajuns

When it became apparent that a baffling shoulder injury was going to cost UL pitcher Chris Griffitt his would-be senior season in 2013, a plan was hatched.

Griffitt had to take a medical redshirt, but he and the Ragin’ Cajuns agreed he’d return for one more try in 2014.

You wouldn't see a kid do so much anywhere else in college baseball I'm sure to help his team that dramatically, i,e: return his scholarship. Wow, that guy is a hero! Geaux Griff!

This is why this team is so good. First, all the players are talented. They can hit, pitch, run the bases and play defense. They have depth. What some have alluded to before, they may not have the "swagger" of the 2000 team. I disagree. They don't have the arrogance of the 2000 team. They have the swagger of Champions. Business as usual, every day ready to play, team first mentality. The sky is the limit for this bunch of winners.
