The road from John Ehret graduate to Top 10 NBA Draft pick might have been unexpected for anyone outside of Elfrid Payton's family three seasons ago.
This was before Payton had led the Louisiana-Lafayette to the NCAA Tournament, before he played and started on the USA U19 World Champions last summer, and before he even step foot on the Ragin' Cajuns campus.
