No word yet? This must be a tough decision for him since we haven't heard him emphatically come out and say if he was declaring or not. Either way he goes...wish him the best of luck.

I do wish, aside from the obvious, that Elfrid would stay in order to sharpen his mid-range jumper and get his three's into the 40-50% efficiency range.
Didn't I read somewhere that he had until April 15th to decide?
I think you really have until April 27th. It's just that if you declare after April 15th, you cannot back out.
There are different draft deadlines for the NCAA (April 15) and NBA (April 27). Underclassmen have until April 27 to declare for the June 26 NBA draft. NCAA rules allow players who declare for the draft to withdraw their name from consideration by April 15 to preserve their college eligibility, though players can delay their decisions until the NBA deadline while seeking more information without declaring or hiring an agent.
I do keep hearing additional underclassmen declaring for the draft. The last I heard from the draft pundit has Elfrid being pushed back to #28. The closer you are to the end of the first round, the closer you are to being pushed into the second round by team needing help at certain positions. Once you're in the second round, your contract is typically no longer guaranteed. The decision is getting tougher.
It has been my belief all along that he will be back. I believe that more so this week.
@ChrisBHaynes Louisiana Lafayette junior G Elfrid Payton to enter NBA Draft and sign with Aaron Mintz, a source tells @CSNNW. Projected to go first round.
