His "sleeper" of the draft AND he mentions how much talent there is in this draft!
Every year there is a player that seems to shoot up the draft boards over the last few weeks before the draft and is selected higher than anyone projected.
Sometimes teams simply miss out on a player, perhaps because he plays for a smaller school and didn’t see great competition. Other times, just one team falls in love with a certain player and surprise everyone by taking him (see the Cleveland Cavaliers selecting former UNLV Runnin’ Rebels’ forward Anthony Bennett with the number one-overall pick last year).
What's the deal on the 26th? The draft?
My dream scenario is he goes to the Lakers at 7. They need a point guard, they're going to be transitioning from the Kobe era to whatever's next, and they're going to have a ton of cap space soon to make some major changes; the last time they had a point guard from the Sun Belt running the show, things worked out pretty well to the tune of 5 championships. That has the potential to turn into a good situation very quickly. If the lottery's too high, I'd be pretty happy with Boston at 17. And of course, the up-side to a big slide would be the Spurs at 30.
Another article that highlights Payton. Watching his video, I'm SO glad that he got the bulldog mentality from Allen Iverson without the "I need to take 30 shots a game and I don't need to practice" aspect of it. What a great kid he is.

Nice. That would be cool. Where is the dinner being held?
I would hate to see him go to the Lakers just because I hate that organization so much haha
Is like to see him in Boston or San Antonio...although San Antonio would mean he slid.
The spot where he could make the most impact would be Oklahoma City if they had the guts to move Westbrook for a lottery pick (or a guy like Kevin Love, don't know if the salaries would work in a trade), and the pick is low enough in the round that people wouldn't expect him to start day 1 and wouldn't have the media pressure of a Los Angeles or Boston. Putting a slashing pass-first point guard that can finish at the rim with a developing jump shot on a team with Durant waiting to take an open shot on a kickout with Love and Ibaka down low? That would be deadly. Their issue is that Westbrook is supremely talented but he's not a consistent-enough player, not an in-control-of-his-game enough player to ever take them to a title at the point. At least in my opinion.
