WOW! I thought we had the chance to move up to #1 or #2 in the BA poll…. these guys don't like to be wrong and refuse to acknowledge that CS Fullerton, Virginia and FSU just really aren't as good as they thought...

And either BA or Perfect Game got the weekly records wrong… BA says FSU went 3-1 this week, Perfect Game says they went 2-2…..

They were 2-2. Midweek loss to Florida and the first game of the series to Clemson.

Right now there's ONE full time member of the Sports Information department. Two interns and one of them can't travel because of a broken leg. We were just in the NCAA tournament and the demands on the SID is incredible. We have baseball and softball to cover, along with tennis, golf, track, etc.

Yeah, we need to take time to do logos and stuff. Jeez.

I guess you just don't get it, Jay. It doesn't matter if our teams are any good, so long as the logo and name police are happy.

IDK why Fullerton is in this conversation as they arent above us, but Virginia and FSU are both very good. You dont drop teams like FSU, very far. They had a very tough 4 game road week and went 2-2 or Virginia who havent finished their weekend series yet on the road (and still only have 4 losses).

That's especially the case when it's their first bump in the road. Both of those teams had good win streaks coming into the weekend. Due to level of competition they play, I think they are afforded a little bit of slack on a weekend before dropping them a good ways.

All that said, I also thought it was possible we could go up more than we did
