FAU and Troy near top 50, but Cajuns way way down on the list.

Don't see how the Cajuns could finish 1-11 this year and that is what it would take to be among the bottom 4 in the nation.

CNN/SI treats most non-BCS teams the same. All they do is take the best teams from last year and project them to be the best again. In case anyone forgot, we were horrible last year. Hence the dire predictions.
Remember we got plenty of preseason respect two years ago after sharing the SBC title. Look where that got us. If by some miracle we win 8 or more game this year SI and other will be singing our praises next year even though we will be losing most of our offense.
