There's a lot going on inside the "giant glass egg" of the LITE Center, the 70,000- square foot facility in UL's Research Park, that could radically change life in Lafayette.
And this afternoon, the center's staff is opening its doors to the public and inviting Acadiana to get acquainted with the innovations going on inside.
On the first Wednesday of every month between 3 and 6 p.m., the Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise holds an open house event designed to give local residents hands-on experience with the center's various technology projects.
