SAN ANTONIO — Bryant Mbamalu came in having scored 19 or more points in six of his last nine games, including a career-high 32 in a March 2 home win over South Alabama and at least 20 in two of three Sun Belt Conference Tournament games.

Xavian Rimmer came in having scored 24 in UL’s Sun Belt tourney opener against Texas-Arlington, and a career-high 27 two days later in the SBC championship game against Georgia State.
