I really hope Elfrid comes back. He took over in the 2nd half and brought us close. Those cheesy fouls on Long hurt the 2nd half effort. We basically had to try and shorten the game by dribbling out most of the clock each possession.

This team played there guts out tonight, unfortunately Bryant could not buy a bucket and they played amazing defense on rimmer.

Great effort, good season. Officiating was frustrating, but it wasn't THE reason we lost. Hopefully we're back at full strength next year. If we get Payton and Long back combined with our incoming freshmen, seasoning on promising young guys like Kande and a returning Shepherd, and an entire year of conditioning for JJ and Rimmer, we're going to be VERY good in 2015.

Well we were +13.5 at gametime, so you have to applaud our effort. We just didn't have the formula for the upset...we didn't shoot the ball well enough. Lets stop the stuff about the refs, if you have watched the NCAA Tournament before you HAD to know this was how they were gonna call this game.

You have to admit that some of those calls against us were bad calls. What really messed us up was Mbamalu going 1 for 11. Like everyone else; I hope Payton comes back. If he gets his jump shot going next year watch out ncaa and Cajun nation prepare to see another jersey number being retired.

The refs didn't lose it but they sure had a hand in it. Embarrassing for a post season tournament game. The makeup calls against Creighton after the game was decided don't matter.
