Proud of the way the Cajuns represented. Their game plan to shut down McBucket in the second half worked. He went over 10 minutes without scoring. Unfortunately the other white boys hit some big 3s. Then McBucket hit the big 3 with two minutes left. Cajuns shot 37%. Creighton 51%. From 3 point range Cajuns 25%. Creighton 39%. Nice run by the Cajuns. Let's see if Payton and Long hang around for another year.

We played well. Refs hurt some, but that is always the case for lower seeds in the dance. They just got hot late.

Well we were +13.5 at gametime, so you have to applaud our effort. We just didn't have the formula for the upset...we didn't shoot the ball well enough. Lets stop the stuff about the refs, if you have watched the NCAA Tournament before you HAD to know this was how they were gonna call this game.

I really hope Elfrid comes back. He took over in the 2nd half and brought us close. Those cheesy fouls on Long hurt the 2nd half effort. We basically had to try and shorten the game by dribbling out most of the clock each possession.
