It seems that there was "cross recruiting" involved. Brittany Cuevas put in a good word for UL, the university & football program and Walker. Way to go athletic department.

was it a thought of him being recruited by bigger schools and had no chance? out of cajuns league? or didn't think he was good enough?

ooops.. nevermind, i was thinking the fellow who told the coaches about yobes, (melvin white) had gone to the same school .. hence, some of my puzzlement of no offer earlier.. now i see they went to different schools.. my bad

Nice to see another Houston area - Ragin Cajun connection. This guy looks like a good pickup. I'm hoping he gets red-shirted too, but the need for him this year might be to great to sit down or like someone else wrote, that might be the reason he's coming to us, quick playing time. Nice job Coaches.

I don't know the record but since he had offers 'post season' I don't think record was key.

I don't know why that would really matter. He played in the toughest division in high school football in a very competitive district. If you saw his clip, you know he can run. Who knows, his team could have been terrible defensively but his stats speak for themself.
