when was the last time a player wished he would have come to UL? I guess it shows the success we're having! Good things are coming too. Kids will want to play here

Hello there, I am new here and I am glad I found this forum (due to having time).
Anyway, in ultoday.com on Beal, the Lobos is 4-6 not 5-5.
Hopefully this post goes to the right place...
Wow, a most interesting update.
Geaux Cajuns
Apparently, former UL football recruit Louis Beal wants to be a Ragin' Cajun.
That was the subject of an e-mail sent to The Daily Advertiser on Thursday by Beal, a redshirt freshman defensive back at the University of New Mexico. The news was first reported at theadvertiser.com.
"I'm coming to Louisiana," Beal wrote in the e-mail.
Attempts to get further comment from Beal, who committed to UL in April before going to UNM, were unsuccessful on Thursday night.

I'm assuming that they'll want to keep him at LB, so if he is, who will be a senior next season that would be starting? Beal has to sit out til 2010 or do you think that Beal is projected to be a backup with who we have now?
So Beal is apparantly making the right decision later rather than sooner. At least it's the "right decision" imho. Tought being 18-20 year old sometimes. I just wish he was a big ole DT. lol!
Especially since technically he will have been out of football for almost 3 years by the time he takes the field for us. He RS last year at a JUCO. I'm assuming he saw the field at UNM, but only in maybe 8 or so games, maximum. (I would imagine that if he's making this decision right now, then he's not playing with UNM for the rest of the season.) And then he'll sit out next season.
I'm curious if RB will allow him to come here with the condition that he'll pay his own way the first year while he sits out, and give him a scholarship next year when he's eligible again. Especially since we have a reduced # of them to use this year.
