Yeah. The rows aren't wide enough to put chair backs.

?They put chair backs on the Home side of the stadium why not the other? It was all poured at the same time, am I right, or has the regulations changed so much that the "over indulgent people" can no longer fit in chair backs? Baseball is crunched, If your butt is too big, go see Coach Rusty Whitt, and trim "IT" down!

  3. UL Football Cajun Field offering new seating areas for 2014 season

With new fan enhancements coming into place at Cajun Field for the 2014 season, a pair of prime midfield seating areas for potential UL Ragin' Cajuns football season-ticket holders are now available.

Seats in sections P and Q on the east side of Cajun Field are available for $150. All seats purchased as season tickets would come with complimentary chairbacks.

You only have to look at the West side to understand the stands are not the same from the thirty outwards. Only the thirty to thirty are designed for chair backs. The university put up backrests on the others last year and it was a nice gesture without much thought as the seats are now horrible.

I do not know if the original design for the East side envisioned putting chair back seating, I kind of doubt it.

Default Detailed Cajun Field Seating Chart

I am the proud, first time, owner of season tickets! I got 2 seats on the east side: section Q, row 11, seats 18 & 19. From what I can tell these appear to be great seats, like on the 50 yl, but I am not sure how high up they are. I have tried to find a detailed seating chart that will show rows and seats, but to no avail. Anyone know where I can find one? Thanks in advance....

Top row is about #35, so you'll be about a third of the way up. I sit in row 12 on the home side and the view is good from there.
