I just set a new record with my purchase of season tickets, do I get a plaque or something?
I finally bought my tickets and a couple of weeks back Farmer said a new record had been set, so every new sale should set a new record.
Not sure how many games I will be able to make though. I still live in California but I will be moving to Fort Worth Texas
Congrats! And on that note, my best friend got the bug Monday and he bought the 2 seats directly above me. And to make things even sweeter, a THIRD friend just bought the two next to my friend. I really love seeing how UL is finally growing....GEAUX CAJUNS!
P.s. None of us had ever bought season tickets before....
When I lived in Lafayette, I owned tickets for many years in section D. That was pre-Hud era though.
I assume that most of the seats in the middle of the home side (chair backs)are for season ticket holders. And every game I look across from the student section and see those seats empty. I think it's time for a change. It's like those seats are never filled. What's the deal? I think at the beginning of every season the box office should look at the season tickets from the year before. If it shows that those tickets of season ticket holders were not scanned for at least "x" amount of games, they don't get those tickets back and somebody else can buy them. It is complete BS that we can't put 30K in the stadium every Saturday. And I am tired of looking across and seeing these awesome seats in the middle of the field not used. You can't make the game? Find somebody to give them to. If you're not going to go to the games, don't buy the tickets.
I saw a lot of grey seat backs today on the 50 yard line on the visitor side. I saw a severely empty student section. What about their punishment?
