Stages Hammer, stages. Make the thirty to thirty chair backs, if possible, for premium RCAF. Move the students over one section, and then the band. Put the visitor high, and away from their team. Once there is a demand for additional side line seats keep it moving in stages.
IMO the experiment with putting backs on the non chair back section on the West had a bad outcome, so maybe we will never be able to chair back the East.
IMO Boomer the backs made passage too difficult for the guys moving between the rows. Not enough depth to do it well.
Yeah they may sell but it doesn't mean people will sit there. Which is fine if all we care about are ticket sales. But if you look at the home side, sometimes the emptiest sections are the chairback sections and there's no issue with sun over there. I guess it has to do with the fact that companies buy a bunch of those seats and they dont use them every week.
Geez Red, people will sit there, we are to playing high noon games, we are not playing early afternoon games, at least in September and early October. Many may very well want to sit in the sun late October and all of November.
If they can make the SEATS comfortable people want to be between the thirties period.
---The same happens for the Basketball and baseball for sure as the whole grandstand is sold out----Somebody mentioned a buy back at LSU for tickets that couldn't be used----and I suggested that after the 3rd or 5th inning let anybody use the grandstand open seats as it looks a hell of a lot better on tv---If the owner of the seats comes you have to move!!!
Boomer if I have to tell them, that only proves Hammers point about being inept. No business, no business does not have a customer feed back line. I sit in the last chair back seats so I am not affected but my neighbors are and they did not look happy struggling to get by.
If you feel so compelled why don't you tell them of what you heard about the seats. They know, there was complaints on this board before the first game. But you trust them go ahead and pal up and tell Farmer.
---OK I guess I will try this one more time---I am an RCAF member and I hold season tickets---I have no pull with the administration and this is the first I have heard of the seating problems---Again remember I was the voice crying in the wilderness as I was mocked for showing so much concern about Tulane and Ltur getting into other conferences----So they spend Lord knows how much trying to improve the seats and you don't like them---Tell them ---What is your problem?? Are you afraid to confront them, or you shy, or just lazy???? Call them and report YOUR problem!!!
