Anyone know what they're going to do with the old video screen?
If buy it. It would look great at our tailgate spot. (I'm only half joking.)
They should've used a wrecking ball.
Frenchie, have you heard anything about when the seats are coming in?
I ask and was told they are waiting on them now. The foreman in charge of installing all the cement forms said that he would be through in about two weeks. He also said that all the cement walk way between the seats and concession will be taken out and leveled with the seating. I told him that it look like a big job and would take some time to do all this. He claimed that it was a small job would take about a week. He also said what need to be done to complete the job is miner and will be finish in time. I asked what was to be built between the concession building. He said some kind of tower. The plans were in the trailer and if I see him today he would take me to see it so I can take a picture of it.....so lets hope I see him today......that is all......
As always Frenchie thanks for the update.
Frenchie is the 12th man of this construction project. No doubt he has made our lives so much better.
Why didn't they sell tickets with winner getting to push the detonation button on the Fourth of July and blow the whole scoreboard down.
I'd pay to blow up something up!
Frenchie, I really appreciate all you have done to keep us updated. Can we start a "Frenchie 2016" campaign?
Here is a shot of the "Café Area". They will have tables and chairs in this area with wrought iron fence around it. Steps going down to two levels with handicap on top. They will back fill and pour concrete for the handicap area.
Getting area ready for "Bell Tower". An oil company is building it now. The project engineer on site said that it was a bell tower. I asked him if they would have a bell on it. He did not know. It may have a camera platform.
Cleaning to get ready to install seating:
Putting up brick veneer:
All the concrete is poured for the handicap area. When they are through and don't need the cement walk way, they will pull it up and level it of from the stadium seating to the concession buildings with a slope for the water to drain toward the seating area.
Last but not least, not much done on the score board. Was waiting on the weather to blow over:
Looking great as usual. Thanks Frenchie.
