Look I'm excited about expansion but I am concerned about presentation and design. I am not a fan of rushing out a low-cost product just to meet a demand. Is the upper deck reconstruction in phase 2 supposed to be concrete?

If they are intent upon using metal siding perhaps they can find a more refined or clean look than a standard U-panel? There's plenty of that over off Eraste Landry in the industrial district, and you know how that looks after a few years...

I'm not bashing, I see this as a legitimate concern. I'm sure someone will jump down my throat

Edit: Are those columns going to be brick similar to the look at Lamson Park? It's a little hard to distinguish from the photo
I agree I'm not a fan either. I do not like our dugouts at the Tigue. Maybe they will cover it with signage.

So which Ragin Pagin, or other will be the hunch back in the tower. Maybe put the pepper in it.

I called it, I called it, I called it. I called it 2 years ago. We'll spend all kinds of money putting more seats in only to not have any money left to make anything nice.

Congrats everyone. We have a 36k seat stadium that looks like a 4H pavillion. I so ****ing called it.

Not a great pic but this is the rendering
That is hideous. A bell-tower would be cool, but that looks like they moved it from the parking lot of a low budget 1970s Catholic Church. The concessions and restrooms look appropriate for Youngsville's new youth sports complex, but not a D-1 football stadium. Hopefully this was a failed submission. If not, we need to organize like they did for the proposed Fletcher Hall wreckovation.

It would be better to put up tents for concessions and port-o-lets for making room for concessions than to spend a penny on that abomination.

The fact that we're the Ragin' Cajuns doesn't mean that our athletic facilities should have the aesthetics of a house boat.

Maybe they'll put some faux brick panels on the columns

Maybe let's see what it actually ends up looking like first.

The rendering they showed during the ground breaking and the picture posted look very similar. Don't think we'll see something much different in the end product.
