The poll results speak for themselves....people want beer at Cajun Field. A majority of Cajun games are tame affairs. Beer should keep more people at the game and maybe get them off their hands.
YES

anyone heard any alcohol related problems with the Southern game?
According to the DA website, there was a last minute glitch between the vendor and the alcohol control board that prevented sales at the game. Hopefully that will be resolved before next week. Regardless, it seemed to be an incident free day and everyone (both fan bases) seemed to have a good time.
It was probably good that there were no beer booths, because it didn't look like they could have fit anywhere. Just didn't look like there was any room for it to work logistically.

I felt it was good that there wasn't beer sales for THIS game both due to crowd management and the fact that any incidents, of any kind, in this large excited atmosphere, beer would have gotten a piece of the blame and sabotaged its future at Cajun Field. It sounds like that rational wasn't the reason beer wasn't sold... but regardless... I was fine without it... this time around.
How about the $110 we lost by not selling it---this is a huge dent in our athletic budget!!!!
For those who think the admin will never make a move on a Gator Sideline booster ....
Just look how long it too them to make a move on this 2008 beer poll. ...
But they did.

To watch this season, you NEED at least a six pack to tolerate the play calling. Passing game, a case…..
