i admit it is kinda weird to hear the fight song at a baseball game...but i would rather hear that then what they play to our Western neighboring state "deep in the heart of texas".
i was unaware that pitchers choose warm up songs. glad that someone has inside scoop on stuff like that.
i havent been to many other college stadiums for baseball games...but i cant imagine others use the sound bites like we do for certain events. "Bull Durham" clips are always amazing and other such clips bring a nice comedic atmosphere to the event.
I thought the team played a prank on Evan Powell about his song, but I heard he actually picked it.
Funny, but not funny. I don't see how anyone can get pumped up to "My lip gloss is poppin'"...haha
Thunderstruck would be a great 9th inning song when Bazar comes in. Thunder cracking as he walks to the mound and everybody yelling "Thunder ah ah ah ..." in unison. Could be magical.
A few "Thunder" songs I found on the web depending on your musical tastes. Some are slower and some are driving beats.
The Thunder Rolls - Garth Brooks
God of Thunder - KISS
Thunder Road - Springsteen
Thunder Road - Judas Priest
Thunder and Lightning - Richard Marx
Thunder and Lightning - Argent
Heavy Metal Thunder - Saxon
Thunder on the Mountain - Bob Dylan
Thunder Underground - Ozzy Osbourne
Listen to the Thunder - Aerosmith
or maybe
Ride the Lightning - Metallica
Super impose him walking across this landscape to the mound........Start around the 1:30 to 2:25 mark..

How do we get this done?
In the Live version there are several thunder claps before they start the guitar intro. That would worth going to the game just to see Big Thunder come out to that song and the crowd reaction.
