Thread: Plasma Magnets, Energy Assessments

    Default Plasma Magnets, Energy Assessments

The lead article is Ted Kozman, yet another faculty member that no one has ever heard about, who has an amazing background. He built the largest superconductor magnets in the world, and he is the director of the Industrial Assessment Center at UL, which has just been named a National Center of Excellence.

Oh, and I have an interview with Robert Lee in the can that will run soon. He gave me an excellent interview.

Fun, this is really good stuff. Will the University NOW make an effort to let everyone know whats going on here?

Hell, I could ask anyone on the street in Lafayette about our academics and they wouldn't have a clue about any of this.

They do know we aren't very good in football, though........

CajunFun, that was an outstanding article. For a person who works with magnetics on a daily basis (right now actually) I found it fascinating. You should do an article on the geology department. They recently won 1st place in the gulf region and 6th place internationally in the Imperial Barrel contest. Keep up the great articles!

Thanks. I hope that UL starts putting out more of these stories... but it's not my call.

I think I'm having an effect. News Services seemed to be more responsive to what was happening on campus at the end of the spring semester, but that's slowed down in the summer.

    We'll see what happens.

I emailed you. Have a great weekend.

I'm going out in a bit to eat raw bait.
