Glenn Ford's freedom began at 5:40 p.m. March 11. That's when he walked out of Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola after spending almost 30 years on death row. The time spent behind bars for the Nov. 5, 1983 murder of Shreveport businessman Isadore Rozeman gave him the distinction of being the longest serving death row inmate.
