It will be nice to have lights bright enough so that you can see the field when our games are on tv. I always hate to see the field on tv because it is so dark

Interesting idea... i never thought of that but it makes sense to me that it would help.

I am not expecting much light reflection from the sand.

The turf itself, however, is highly glossy, and will reflect much more light than the natural grass did.

I am anticipating some phantom flares, stars in my night pictures.

Saturday after scrimmage I was talking to Scott Farmer, Anthony Daniels and I think GataDotCom . . .

I asked them (or suggested) that the sand reflection might add some candle power to the lights.

Today Matt Ulm's dad said they lit up the field Saturday night (not in connection to my question) and they were pleasantly surprised at how much brighter it is.

might they be removing that box at the base of the press box that jets out on the right side that is making our Louisiana off center? I had heard that that box was built when we hosted the NO Bowl. I also heard that it would be disassembled. Any word on that. From the Congress street the box blends in with the rest of the base of the press box and it just makes the Louisiana look like it was put on off center.

if you look closely at the n. tex. game that cox repeats over and over on cable ch. 4, you'll see how there is glinting that comes off their turf under the lights. looks kinda cool, actually.
