last year it was like on a thursday evening.. I'm not sure what time it starts this year, but I would like to see them make a day out of it, events for the kids, beer for the adults, and finishing with a good band. there should be a good crowd this year.. ya'll take some pics.. unfortunately I will be working... rats...

Ever since I moved back to Lafayette (2002), Fan Day has been on Sunday afternoon. It was on a late Sunday afternoon last year and will be again this year.

That new field is amazing. A heck of alot better then the field we saw in Feb. when she first visited. _

Football fields in February after 3-9 seasons tend to look really gloomy.

Are you sure? If you check the Cajun Field cam it looks like someone hit it with a pressure washer. Hey will we be able to watch the pressure washing live?

Looks like they are concentrating with on campus class room buildings now. I would suspect they want to get that done before school starts. I'm sure they can get the work done alot faster without students in the way.

I noticed they were working on the campus entrance on University Avenue today. It looks like they have finished with all the buildings around the quad including Guillory Hall. I would suspect they will move across Hebrard Blvd. or St. Mary next, if they haven't done so already. I would also suspect they would save buildings like Wharton, Griffin and Rougeou halls for last because they are all over three floors in height.

The stadium I figure will be done after school starts because they can work without interruption there.

I had a survey job on campus for the Moody Building and it was a major pain in the butt working with all the students there. Every time you would turn around there was somebody in the way.

Ya i drive by Cajun field every day to work and they were there Monday and Tuesday, I am guessing they didnt get much done Monday due to the windy weather and rain. They are either repairing the damage and maybe changing lights. But at least they are getting it done.
