Just finished reading both articles. I was a student of Phebe's back in my days as a CODI major. Not only was she one of the best teachers I had in college, but she was also a good friend and one of the absolute nicest people you'll ever meet. I like the dierction she's wanting to take General Studies. I think it pesents a unique opportunity for students who would like to have a different learning experience and still be academically prepared for the professional world.
