I heard on the radio this morning that Rily Dodge had shoulder surgery and will likely be redshirted because as of a month ago, he couldn't throw the football 20 yards. Regardless, to not have Desormeaux as one of the top players in the SunBelch is simply rediculous.

This is a fan and student of a BCS program,Florida. This is why posting opinions from blogs and as news articles in my opinion is a waste of time. This blog is not news worthy, because he lacks the knowledge of the Sun Belt to rate athletes. I'm sure he used a combination of preseason publications and websites to come up with this list.

Well again, he is a student and not a beat writer or contributor to any publication. So he is writing his opinion on a blog, he is no more qualified then any other student or person for that matter. The mistake here is posting his blog on this board and representing it as some legitimate source on college football. Its all a matter of opinion.

Mike Desormeaux's greatest quality is leadership and we are going to see it in full bloom this season.

Well I think you guys are being a little harsh on the blogger. He obviosly has his own criteria when judging a player.

While I didn't like his Sun Belt dig, I thought this writer nailed his pick of Fenroy and Zanders.

He is obviously a fan of the forward pass so this taints his view of Desormeaux and made him fall in love with Dodge. In whatever he has read to do his research he was no doubt bombarded with Desormeaux can't throw, I know this is wrong but it is no worse than any beat writer or contributor to a publication who is tryng to judge from afar.

Turb, as I stated it's just a matter of opinion. My point is this blog was posted on the site as a news release, but it was simply a blog from a college student at a BCS program. Kind of misleading in my opinion. I think most people look at such publications like Phil Steele, Anthlon, Sporting News,etc; as the publications most fans are familiar with. This blog is just one of hundreds out there on the net, certainly not a news release. Just my .02 cents.
