Huge match today vs. a very good GWU team.
We will really see where we shake out, GWU is playing us, Tulane and LSU in consecutive matches over the course of 4 days. GWU is coming off of 4-0 and 4-3 wins vs. #70 Charlotte and #60 UNC-Wilmington respectively. They are a pretty good team that has a good chance to finish the season ranked in the Top 75. We are sitting at #62 this week, and this win could move us up considering we have a lot of winnable matches to finish the season. The Cajuns need to start a push right now to finish the season strong. After this we have matches vs. UAB and Samford on the road, then at home vs. Alcorn State, Tyler CC, UTSA and UTPA at home then finish the season vs. Tulane, USM and UNO on the road before the conference tournament in New Orleans. A top 50 finish this year could be very possible.
Geaux Cajuns!
