_ Warren J. "Puggy" Moity. A PI that published a scandal sheet called "The True Scope of Louisiana". His Sunday TV show lasted 15 minutes and it was on about noon on channel 10. He would come on the TV and tell everybody the "truth" about all kinds of political figures that would border on slander and definitely not PC.

He had nick names for many of his political targets. "Hurricane" Sam Broussard long time sheriff of Iberia Parish. Edwin Edwards was "Chanel No. 5" if I remember correctly. It's wonder he didn't show up "missing". I was very entertaining. He had a PI office at the corner of Jefferson and the throughway _

The larger Acadiana gets, the worse and smaller our paper gets.

However, I do have to give Mr. Parrot some praise. He has given us quite a bit of UL and SBC stuff lately, during the dead season no less.

Still, the paper is a shell of what it used to be even just 15 years ago.

Anyhow you know you are from Lafayette if you are sick and tired of River Ranch and the Ranch Davidians that populate the place. You have to wonder what it is that makes people pay $2.50 for something that is worth $1.00. I dunno.

That's great, I was complaining about the way our streets are (un)arragend.

Like everyone else, I thought it was very entertaining, I didn't get some things cause I'm a little young (21), and the LSU A&M stuff got me a little peeved.
