Beetroot Rice
...bored with the usual stir fry and kootu with beetroot, I decided to make this rice instead. This is a simple rice flavored with spices. Kootu podi (mixture of lentils and spices) is used to jazz up this rice and I normally make the powder in bulk and add it to a variety of dishes.
