That is one location discussed, Frenchie mentioned the other. Bottomline, the committment to build a new facility is not there yet because we fall short a few million at this point. Meetings with several big money supporters has been pushed back until T. Joe takes over the President Position.

Yeah I also heard someone say they are a tad over budget on the new stadium. Just a thought, why not get the city to front some bucks and the stadium could be used for HS night games, HS state championships and such? I know they have Faubcher field (sp?) But the more HS kids that we can get around from out of town it couldn't hurt recruiting. Just a thought, I don't know the logistics of something like that.

I know one of the reasons was because the location in the research park appeared to be off-limits for Dr. A. Some are hoping that the new administration will be more open to the idea.

They have known all along that they would not have enough money for a new park with current commitments of money. As of the conference tournament they had not received the final cost for a new park from the architect. They need that number to approach potential other donors about.

and yes Zee I did see the sarcasm dripping off your comment! LOL!

What about doing it as part of whatever the City is trying to do w/The Farm? I know that wd have the disadvantage of distance from the Athletic complex-but just thought I'd throw out the idea.

The city is not doing anything with tax payers revenue in relation to the Horse Farm. Lawsuits are waiting my friend.
