    Note The University of Miss St is the first BCS program to ever play in Rustin and coincidentally they are coming off their best season in years and a big Liberty Bowl win. Irregardless, the LaTexsters should handle them easily.

    Hey when WKU comes in are they dividing the conference in East/West? That would be tight, then we could have a championship game

    Pretty sure you need 12 football playing schools to have a championship game.

    You are correct, 12 is needed. Once USA is up and running we will be two short.

    Seems as if La Tech will suffer from jet lag on in the middle of the season. I just hope that WAC continues to put teams in BCS bowl games, for the sake of travel budget of the Techsters.


  12. UL Football 2008 Spring Slate for UL Football Arranged


    LOUISIANA - UL released its spring football schedule on Friday. Practice times have not been determined, but all weekday practices are expected to be in the afternoon.

    The Cajuns open with the first of 14 spring practices on Feb. 22.

    They also practice on Feb. 23-25, Feb. 27, Feb. 29, March 1, March 3, March 5, March 7-8, March 10, March 12 and March 14.

    The Cajun spring game, which marks the end of the spring season, will be on Saturday, March 15.



    The 2008 fall football schedule will be released at the recruiting bash reception at 5 p.m. on Feb. 6 at the Leon Moncla Indoor Practice Facility.

    Fans are invited to meet the Cajun coaching staff. The reception is free of charge.
