I was told that we are going to more under center plays and that our offense was "too predictable" I think that as of now Brad McGuire may be the starter and that Des will move to receiver/athlete position.
If we run from the "I" formation, can you imagine the rushing yards Fenroy would get?
Thanks! I see he played running back in highschool. Ok so if USC was impressed with him then that is good. I can understand why he wasn't offered considering they had like nine million 5 star runningbacks last year. I really like the way this defense is coming together...
and Des isn't going anywhere...
That's interesting. McGuire wasn't even ahead of Masson when Desormeaux got hurt this season. In fact, he didn't even dress out. They had Masson as the backup but were probably going to use Wallace if it came to it just so they didn't ruin the redshirt. At this time, why would McGuire be considered ahead of Masson? I heard he was a little behind Masson in regards to development and understanding of the playbook.
Let's not forget that we have Gautier coming in, and from all accounts, he runs the spread offense better than any of the other QB's except Desormeaux.
Actually my statements were true, I just meant that Des is not leaving. And as for who I spoke to, it was Kevin Belton Senior TE. We had a long talk about the future of UL football and he told me many things that make me feel everything will be just fine. There is a lot of talent on this team and it will begin to show this year. As for whether this is set in stone, I don't know, I'm just going by what he told me... hope that helps!
And to correct any missunderstandings, I mentioned McGuire because Kevin told me he personally thought he was a better QB. He told me he is very good. I don't think this counts towards who is in better shape with the play book and offense directly.
