No surprise there. Payton with a hell of an effort tonight. But man is this team downright frustrating to watch at times. My blood is boiling.

True. But that automatic semifinal birth would be big time!

Arkansas State beat ULM tonight, leaving us tied with them for the 3rd seed. We win Saturday, 3rd seed is all ours.

Looked up tie breakers (surprised I found it). Looks like if we finish in a 3 way tie for 4th with UALR and TX Arl we would win the tiebreaker based on win loss tied % vs the group. If we finish in a 2 way tie with Tx Arl we win tie break. And if we finish in 2 way tie with UALR we lose the tie break.

Of course, if we win Sat we are the 3 seed. As long as TX Arl wins at South Al on Sat, I think we are assured of a bye.

No, but they do make bad calls like that clean block by Rimmer late in the game which was called a foul, and also where Davenport got hit under the basket and they swallowed their whistles and he came down and basically did the same thing as they did but got called for a foul. Not to mention when he had to get hacked what looked like three times under the basket before they called the foul.

Come crunch time when a team makes its free throws it almost doesn't matter what happens on the other end. Western closed us out from the line. We better take some lessons because there WILL be a time that we have to make free throws to win games, especially in a one and done scenario.

shot 71% from the stripe, what killed us was going 33% from the arc and 36% from the rest of the floor.

Got a whole thread for this discussion already.

I slammed my iPad on the ground when Wronk coulda fouled the worst FT on the team, 5 ft from the goal, but chose to let dish to a Fant for the uncontested dunk when we were down by 3 with under a minute.

I like the grit in Rimmer, but other than that..... P-words. Bunch bunch of half-as playin p words. EP needs to take the $ and get the f outta here. I'd clear the house and start from scratch next year. Keeping Rimmer, Register and Shepard.

Whoever said "blood boiling" hit the nail on the head. Don't even get me started on greasy fingers GIVING them an 11 point swing.

Until EP can shot over 70% on FT and develop a perimeter shot , I don't see the draft taking him. He goes to the basket nicely and draws fouls but what good is that strategy when you can't make free throws!

Very True. I think he'd better served learning to finish strong also.
