      The Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum at the University of Louisiana was recently awarded a Conservation Assessment Program (CAP) grant from the Heritage Preservation, The National Institute for Conservation in association with the Institute of Museum and Library Services. A nationally competitive grant, the University Art Museum was among a select few to receive this funding.

    CAP grants support the efforts of museums to conserve the nation's historic, scientific, and cultural heritage.

    outstanding job for all involved. this is a tough grant to win. they are very selective in their awards. just receiving the grant gets you national attention from these kinds of folks. and if you haven't checked out an exhibit at the museum, you need to. a very impressive place. their exhibits are first class, and the layout designs are very professional. we are lucky to live in the land of the university of louisiana!
