I am looking forward to seeing Turnbull square off against Nola late in the season at Alex Box.

Now we just need Baranik to be Baranik.

Where was Austin sitting tonight? Did he touch 94? Of course, most of his fastballs were probably of the two-seam variety. Turnbull throws plenty of four-seamers, but recently started mixing in 2-seamers in the Fall.

Wow...my friends we are witnessing one helluva team here. I'm kicking myself for taking my family to the parades instead of going to the game. This is gonna be a fun season.

He bumped a 100 once on the gun on the scoreboard. Don't think it was legit. Prob about 2 mph off I'd guess. But we were tardy all night. Velocity cuffed us. He was throwing dots. We

Sat behind the guns tonight. Trumbull was 93-96 with an 81-83 curve. Austin was sitting 91-94.

Yup. Guy for Bama was a damn good pitcher. Got a standing O from some in the crowd, and they weren't Bama fans.

He definitely threw a great game!

Cajun batters found his weakness and that was getting him off the mound and making him play the field.

Austin was 90-92, after deducting 2 off the scoreboard gun, which is 2 higher thanth scouts guns. He was below 90 the last inning, but was still very dirty. He was wiping them out with breaking stuff.

Turnbull and Nola will put on a show. I am looking foward to the Carson show tomorrow.

Traffic probably worse tomorrow, you may want to get there early.

Did Turnbull touch 97 after the 2 mph deduction? IOW, did he touch 99 on the scoreboard?

Just saw your post after responding to Dad04.

Yes, on opening weekend all fastballs I saw on the scout guns (three different guns) were exactly 2 mph slower than the scoreboard gun.

Yes...he did hit 100 once that I saw on our board. Most of the Stalkers are 2 lower I am told by those in contact with folks behind the plate.
