It's been awhile, but I wanted to make my way back over and see how things are going for my favorite neighbors to the southwest. For those of you who know me from last season, I am no friend of LSU and its fans. I'd much rather hang out with the great folks wearing the red and yellow. I'd like to invite all of you to make the trip up to Troy this season. I think our game will be great, and I look forward to meeting any of you who come. I'd also like to extend an invitation to come tailgate with me personally. I can't promise the food and drinks that have been so graciously provided by the Cajun faithful, but I can promise good times with friends. I like Trojan DC... class act... but that "red and yellow" cracks me up. Then, to scroll down and find Rhineaux's evidence that it is an absolutely honest mistake made me fall out of my seat. Where in the world did anyone agree to a slab of mustard getting thrown on our sports apparell. I thought it was strictly some colorizing on our hot wheels logo and our most precious pepper. Do we really have crap out there with baby diaper juice on them!?!?!

haha, it took less than 20 minutes for rhineaux to put that picture up. I wonder if he has a problem with the UL merch dept (read: JSD). I agree though, our colors are red and white, it is a classic look that never goes wrong.

consider yourselves lucky they just added yellow. troy has had a problem of being the team of 1000 reds. our merchandise mistakenly comes in in all different shades of red. our official color is cardinal, which is like a crimson with a bit more purple in it, but vendors just can't seem to catch on. i hate it, you can't wear a troy shirt with a troy hat because the two won't match.

sorry for my slip up. i'll remember your colors from here on out.

Frankly, I think all of our gear should be vermilion and white. With the exception of some black (baseball uniforms etc), the more simplicity the better.
