Thread: Cajuns bats rain down

  1. Default Cajuns bats rain down

Louisiana showed off its big-hitting bats against LSU — at least through five innings.

    That was more than enough.

The Ragin’ Cajuns toppled the top-ranked Tigers 4-1 in a rain-shortened affair halted in the sixth inning Tuesday night.

I do not think the Sports writer for the Advocate knows where LSU is located, as he redundantly use UL-Lafayette throughout the article. Our papers should use LSU-Baton Rouge just to make sure the knuckleheads that promote the apparent stupidity out of Baton Rouge gets a quick look in the perverbial mirror.

Louisiana 4 LSUAMCBR 1, enough said, eh BATON ROUGE?

LOL, rain down? Beside the triple on both sides the hitting wasn't spectacular, on both teams.

One team scored 4...and was about to score more. The other team got a triple and a sac fly. Hitting doesn't have to be spectacular...UL OWNS THAT ___!!!

I was so glad the way it ended. I coached LSU pitcher Zac Person from age 7 to 14, but being a huge Cajun fan I was
Glad he came in and got Girourd to ground to 2nd base, Cajuns score on error and then the rains came, a win/ win for me!!!

Talk to your local paper about how they title their articles.

Mainieri said: “They certainly out-played us for the first five and a half innings of the game.”
Looks like your coach was watching the same game I was… What game were you watching Earl?

The announcers as well as the Morning Sadvocate both recognized that the Cajuns hit several rockets that were run down on or close to the warning track while a&m@br was hitting lazy fly balls.... Actually Manerie (sp??) said the same thing...

If you did not know who was ranked where you would have said the "red" team was #1 and the purple team #10.....
