Ronnie Rantz gave us a 'teaser' about Trahan being the best athlete on the field. Had a story on him that we didn't get to hear.

The play of the game was Blake backhanding a ball in the hole, then throwing out Robertson by 30 feet at home. Robertson assumed the ball got through and never saw Blake ranging to stop it as he rounded 3rd.

Of course, we just won our World Series and they lost a meaningless mid week game. That's what they believe over there, anyway.

We will never get credit from their fans for anything....I still hear on occasion the question, "Why do you guys want to be big time in football"? My answer for over 20 years has been, "why are you so worried about it"?

Mother Nature saved them from being embarrassed. Regardless of the weather though, we were clearly the better team tonight in all aspects of the game.
