I think he thought that somebody was referring to our University as Lafayette.

Dude, if you are trying to insult somebody, at least wait until you get to the office and actually read about the article rather than prematurely stirring the pot.

I think what he's saying is he can't read it, but that our school's name is Louisiana, not Lafayette (the Title is "UL time-Line')

Pup, it is a Time-line of Lafayette, UL and Acadiana. It starts in 1604 with the ancestors of the Cajuns arriving in Port Royal, up to the present.

Not a bad headline. You just misinterpreted.... Cajunfun is one of the biggest proponents of The University of Louisiana. No way-No how would he call us "Lafayette"

Everyone else so far has gotten it. Thanks for being "hardore", though!

I enjoyed reviewing the timeline. I would have added one athletic note. That one being the Cajun Baseball team reaching the College World Series semifinals in the year of 2000. I am sure there are other noteworthy academic accomplishments which should also be considered for inclusion. The Cajunbot performance comes to mind.

Well, once you get off that inexcusable high horse you're riding and put as much time into moving this University forward that I am with this eZine-- in my free time, entirely without pay-- then maybe you'll have earned the right to criticize what I'm doing.

It also might help to actually read the article first.

But until then, please shut your pie-hole.

    Have a great day.

Yeah, I thought about that one, also the first time the ladies reached the WCWS. Thanks.

Great job, there is one thing that seems to be missing, unless I didn't see it. When was Lafayette founded/incorporated? Thanks for the work doc, I enjoy reading the ezine.

It was Vermilionville originally, 1824. I made an amendment to clarify. Thanks--
