Ardion on the mound tonight

Kevin Ardoin starts tonight and is fully capable of going the distance.

In fact this summer up in an est coast summer league (Cape Cod?) Kevin threw the first complete game shutout in Lumberjacks Franchise History.

In that game Ardoin allowed just three hits in the 3-0 victory.

I must get some sleep but SMALL BALL comes alive in the bottom of the 5th.

Louisiana scores 3 on two bunts, along with a couple of other timely hits and veteran decisions by players like Sneed.

I should have never gone to sleep. Tied at 3 at nap time, I wake up to a blowout.

I'm starting to get a good feel about this team.

Yeah they lost today in a one run squeakier than it shoulda been game, but when you can point to a wild throw by the pitcher early in the game as the reason or when you can point to specifics for a loss, then things aren't so bad.

The hitting is coming around and I really like the combo of Ardoin on Friday Gros on Saturday.
