We are not in the bottom 20, the list came out today and only ASU is in 110-101.
Here is the breakdown of number 120-101 as it pertains to the SBC.
120--FIU
116--WKU
115--UNT
112--ULM
106--ASU
Others of note:
CUSA Members
110--RIce
109--SMU
107--Tulane
114--UAB
Former Conference Mates:
119--Idaho
118--Utah State
109--Northern Illinois
104--San Jose State
103--New Mexico State
Scheduled Opponents 2008 (not SBC members)
113--Kent State
Louisiana no where to find in the bottom 20. Others not yet mentioned from the SBC:
FAU, Middle and Troy. Worst case senario--Rivals has us to finish in the top 4 in the SBC. I think it will be broken out like this.
#1 FAU
#2 TROY
#3 Middle
#4 UL
#5 ASU
#6 ULM
#7 UNT
#8 WKU
#9 FIU
My predicted order of finish:
#1 FAU
#2 UL
#3 Troy
#4 ASU
#5 Middle
#6 ULM
#7 WKU (transitional member)
#8 UNT
#9 FIU
Both UL and FAU qualify for a bowl game, UL only gets in if something happens with the major conferences not qualifying enough teams.

sun belt is getting better
Maybe they forgot about us all together...
Iwas kind of surprised to see UAB and Kent St. down there, I saw their record last year warranted it but weren't both those bowl teams a few years ago?
I will jump for joy if we finish the year bowl eligable. I think we will finish the season with an 8-4 record if things go our way, if they do not then we will be 4-8.
