_ 1) In '06, they won 5 of their last 8 with a bunch of Fr. and Soph. That's not coming out of nowhere.

2) Even if we had beaten them last season, Florida Atlantic still would have the most returning starters this season.

3) Troy has to replace every skill position on offense.

4) If we are able to find a defense in the next 2 months, maybe we could start searching for a few other things:

-Jimmy Hoffa
-The Holy Grail
-An end to the 2000 year Arab/Israeli War.
-A cure for Cancer _

You handle the defense part; I'll start on the others and likely will finish before you. I have no reason to be even hopeful for this year's team. So maybe we'll do OK.

I have no expectations for the football team. Could go 8-4, 2-10, 6-6. etc.
Will the defense be at least acceptable? Can the special teams be better than o.k.? Can the offense complete some passes? I don't know.

Oh man, I am totally exuberated about the 2008 football season.

If I'm counting correctly, I counted 13 returning starters for us and 12 for FAU. That's the count I got from the predicted Scout.com depth charts at least.
