GEAUX CAJUNS!!!
Did cockrell throw for southern miss?
Cajuns' RPI WP = .8488 (7.3 - 1.3)
The Cajuns' RPI OWP is really bad because EIU does not yet have a win to include in this calculation. Thus, we have .000 weighted at four games.
(4) -> .0000
(1) -> .5000
(3) -> .5000

OWP -> .2500
This is why the RPI makes no sense without a reasonable sample size (connectivity is important) ... and is also why you want your opponents to schedule easy opponents. Look at EIU ... after the Cajuns they have (3) at Arkansas, at Louisville, (2) vs. Michigan State (beat #1 Oregon State today), and (2) at Mississippi State for their first (12) games. Because of EIU's schedule, this may be a bit of a hole in UL's RPI until much later in the year (because they played four games and EIU's WP will suck for a while).
The Cajuns' OOWP is .8000. This yields an overall RPI of .5372.
Assuming LSU wins tomorrow, simply playing them Tuesday night brings the Cajuns' OWP to .3333.
