Does anyone know if Danny or Moody have come to terms yet? Was also wondering if any of the incomming guys were picked and if they are still gonna be Cajuns?!!!
Moody signed Tuesday morning and is in Florida at the Jays spring training facility awaiting assignment.
Farquhar and his "advisor" are still in talks with Toronto.
Sorry guys, should have posted this sooner, but got so busy tonight. Josh has a story in today's paper updating both of their situations.
Don't think any recruits were drafted high enough to keep them from being here in the fall.
Former UL pitcher Hunter Moody finally made it official: He's a Toronto Blue Jay.
Moody, taken in the 35th round of last week's Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, signed a contract Tuesday morning with the Blue Jays. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The side-armed lefty said he will find out at the end of the week whether he'll start his pro career with Short-A
Auburn of the New York-Penn League or High-A Dunedin of the Florida State League.

Anyone knows where Moody is? They both signed with the Blue Jay's...
Moody is with the rookie-level team in the Gulf Coast League. He got his first pro victory last week.
Hunters stats:
He's 2-0 with an ERA 1.23, Hit's 12, runs 4, 2 earned, walked 3, SO 14, Innings pitched 14.2
Frenchie:
Hunter picked up a Save in a 2-0 victory against the GCL Yankees at their park last week but the Yankees scorekeeper failed to show the pitching change and did not have Hunter in the book. The Blue Jays are trying to get this mistake corrected. In that game Hunter went in and closed out the 9th with a leadoff walk, two K's swinging and a flyout to left field to pick up the Save.
So as of today 7/13/08, Hunter has pitched in 6 games - 2 starts, 2 middle reliefs, and 2 closes - for 15.2 innings, 16 SO, 4BB, 2ER, 12 Hits, 1.15 ERA
The Blue Jays are flying Hunter out this morning (Friday 7/25) leaving the Gulf Coast League Blue Jays in Dunedin, Florida to join their other short-season team, the Auburn Doubledays of the New York/Penn League in Auburn, New York. There he will be reunited with Danny Farquhar as teammates.
Hunter's stats with the GCL Blue Jays was: 3 Wins - 0 Loss - 1 Save, 8 Games, 2 Starts, 0.89 ERA, 20.1 IP, 23 SO, 4BB,
