Congrats to the ladies they did us all proud! Did anyone hear John Kurk mention that the way our pitching staff is set up with 2 fresh and a soph, that we might be watching a mini dynasty. Will be back and now they have world series experience which is priceless.

Default LADY CAJUNS Arrival Home ... 8:30 PM

Anybody know when the team gets back to Lafayette? It may be the dead season, but it would be cool for a big crowd to welcome them back.

It was definitely a treat for all of Louisiana. Being in the TOP 5 in the country is surely special. Two or three plays go the other way and we are talking about the Cajuns in the Championship series. We have a young team with a lot of passion. Let's see them again next year!

Event: Greet the Cajuns as they return home to Lamson Park

    June 1, 2008

    Gates Open at 7:45 pm

Team’s Estimated Arrival Time: 8:30 pm – rough approximation due to bus travel

Location: Cajuns' Lamson Softball Park – Cajundome Blvd

Parking: Bourgeois Hall and Blackham Coliseum – Due to the Cajun Heartland State Fair, Cajun Field requires a fee to park.

The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Return Home From the Women’s College World Series!

The University of Louisiana would like to invite everyone in Acadiana to join in the festivities as we welcome home the Ragin’ Cajuns. The team is scheduled to arrive this evening at 8:00 pm. Since the University is currently between semesters, tonight will be your only chance this summer to greet the Cajuns. A formal reception for the team is being planned for the fall semester.

Everyone is welcome to go out on the field, run the bases, and get a feel for how close the Killer B’s are when they throw a fastball… “underhand.” There will be a fun jump, courtesy of Acadiana Fun Jumps, for the kids in the outfield.

Upon arrival, the team will be introduced and will greet those in attendance. “Geaux Cajuns” posters will be available and fans are encouraged to interact with these exceptional young women. Feel free to bring items you would like autographed by the team.

Lamson Park is located on Cajundome Blvd. and is adjacent to Bourgeois Hall. Due to the Cajun Heartland State Fair, parking at Cajun Field is restricted and requires patrons to pay a fee. Free parking is available at Bourgeois Hall and Blackham Coliseum (if needed).

Please spread the word and we look forward to seeing you this evening!
