I'm back with more questions for you seasoned vets. This will be my first game at the Tigue so I'm not familiar with how things work. I've got some friends coming with me (student aged, but not students). I got 3 bleacher tix and a so called "student escort" ticket. I was under the impression that the student escort ticket meant that the ticket holder could join me (a student) in the student section. Apparently that's not so, because the SE ticket is right along side the other 3 tickets I bought.

Seeing as that leaves me sitting by myself, do any of you know how crowded the student section usually is? The student section as I understand it is section A-1 and my friends tickets are section A so we're close. Is there any likelihood I can get at least one of my friends into the student section with me?

Just get there early and grab seats in the student section. No one checks tickets in the bleachers.

Thank God we won tonight because the walk back to the car in that monsoon was brutal.

I caught the shuttle back to the free parking lot. It was clutch lol. Of course I stayed for the entire hour long rain delay until they officially called the game off so the amount of people leaving at that point were slim to none.

Yeah unfortunately for me, I missed the bus by literally a few seconds.

Just gonna grab on to a Parade Float and ride it to Cajun Field.

Alabama 1 and Southern Miss 2 in the bottom of the 8th. Alabama has left 8 men on base and Southern Miss has left 7 men on base.

Southern Miss beats Alabama 2-1. Alabama will be practicing at The Tigue tomorrow.

Just got back from the Tigue. Saw a policeman there and I ask him if he knew where the baseball fans will park. The grass area across from the baseball and track field is empty. I assume it will be there. He didn't know anything. He was there to stop RV's from coming in and parking. I assure it will be a mess tomorrow morning when they arrive for a spot to park. I think the price for parking an RV for the five days of mardi-graw is $600

Frenchie didn't you read the advisory? It already stated in there that the grass lot is where we will have to park. They also said in the advisory no RV's for the weekend. Seems pretty straight forward. Luckily I live close enough to the Tigue that I can walk or ride my bike there! Haha
