    A) I hope we leave South AL behind
    B) South AL's campus is not in the middle of Mobile like UL is in Lafayette. It's almost 20 miles from the Parade Route. If there was a university on Government Blvd in downtown Mobile, they would have the same problems we do.

That isn't the point. Name another school that we want to be associated with that allows ANY outside organization to use its facilities in conflict with its own teams.

The only thing that is changing is the parking arrangement. We are still playing the games. People have ample opportunity to make adjustments to get there early. Go look at the parking around Alex Box. You pay or you walk a mile. I'm all for getting ____ed when the admin/athletic dept gets in their own way, but to complain about everything that they do is getting exhausting. We are making progress. Until the money and success comes for a significant amount of time, we will have to make sacrifices. Instead of _____ing, be excited that we will be flirting with the top 10 after handling the kitties in BR and dominating bama in our house! When UL athletics brings more money to Lafayette than Mardi Gras does, we will have every right in the world to tell them where to go.

Cajun field has entrances on Congress, Bertrand, and Cajundome Blvd. The one that will be open for baseball is the only one that has the posssibility of closing due to a parade. It is also the only entrance that you cannot take a left into. So if you are coming from the north you will need to make the block into parade crowd to take a right into the gate. If you are coming from the south you will need to cross Johnson and come down the Parade route. This should only be an issue on Friday unless the childrens parade is still going on Satuarday afternoon. Just not good planning in my opinion.

I think Cajundome Blvd would have been much better option for entrance into ball game. You can trun in from either direction or go straight across coming from St. Mary and no parades go down it at all.

Anyone know what time they shut down bertand for the Friday night parade?

You hit the nail on the head Boomer! If Louisiana athletics does not see a penny of the revenue brought in by this then it is hurting the program.

They actually do shut down Cajundome Boulevard when the parade gets closer at about the same time that North college is shut down in order to stop the traffic so the floats can cut across to go to the Cajundome.
