1. That thing in front of the plate was fair. The call was correct on A&M's hit.
2. I don't think the error meant anything. We'd have had no shot to throw her out. She's already off the bag, running on contact and it took the ball awhile to get down. According to the box score the run was earned.
I agree with the previous post. Softball gods just werent with the Cajuns. Soto's ball in the sixth, if fair, we win.
A&m is really good. So are we.

the error changes everything including them getting a hit at all
A Question about the line up. This happen twice against Flordia. Bowers gets on base once by a hit and once by a walk. Than Brodhead bunts her over to second. Than we have two slap hitters come up. Hubbard slap hit and is thrown out at first for the second out. Bowers move up to third. Smith does the same thing, slap and is thrown out for the third out. With one out and a runner on second we need someone other than two slap hitters coming up. We have three slap hitters in a row. Number eight, nine and one in the batting order. Any thoughts on this?
If the ball hits in bounds then cross either third are first base bag than hits out of bounds it is a fair ball. On a fly ball if it cross third are first bag in bounds and hits out of bounds it is a foul. How many times have you seen a ball have homerun distance cross ten feet are more inside the bag than by whatever reason, wind are ball rotation cause the ball to go out of bounds...many times. Anyone disagree's with this?
