I agree. It was hit hard and one hopped cleanly to Hubbard where her momentum was taking her towards the plate.

Tough loss. This could have gone either way. A little wind and we might have a couple of HRs in the sixth (at least one by Soto).

Ashley pitched a hell of a game especially considering what she did yesterday. The announcers kept expecting her to fold but she hung tough. I just wonder if she will have anythign left in the tank for tomorrow. That is why I don't understand the winner of game 1 having to come right back the next day and the loser getting a day of rest.

I have to disagree. With the runner's speed at second and considering the fact that she's running on contact, I believe she scores regardless.
