15-1 probably didn't help. Michigan also dropped but only slightly. My uneducated opinion is maybe they think our pitching after Jordan is suspect.

We also lost 2 games to Texas who has since lost 4 or 5 Games. Also, tying Purdue didn't help.

We are extremely young, and will be most of the season. Hopefully we learn, grow, and get players in the best position for them and the team to be successful this season. The second game against Michigan and Texas true freshmen pitched for Louisiana. The first Texas game we were up and on our way to a W when the cold weather took Jordan Wallace out with back problems. Coach Mike is moving ladies around and will continue until he finds that right spot. He will hopefully have them set and making fewer errors prior to the Conference race starting. I like some of the defensive moves he made Sunday, and the Hitting is already coming around.

Example of a great hitting "coach", taking a 5'4" TCH grad who always hit as a righty, then within two weeks of hitting as a lefty, jacks two home runs, one was against Michigan!

We will be ok, these girls have NO QUIT in them!

I feel like one HUGE thing that will help us out down the road, RPI wise, is our conference ranking. WKU and USA will definitely help bolster us up being within the top 50. I gotta assume that maybe on or two others will break the 75's too.

--------I use to always tell the lady basketball players that there were no more Freshmen after New Years---I guess no more Freshmen in softball after Easter!!!
