Scammers are using this care toward others to run funeral email scams in order to steal personal information from computers. This scam email, disguised as a funeral notification, reaches a new low.


Here is how the scam works:


You receive an email with the subject line "funeral notification." The message appears to be from a funeral home in the area, but it could actually be from anyone.
